Precision Bridge supports the migration of data to Jira Service Management and also the update of issues and Confluence pages.
Data can be migrated from any supported Precision Bridge source platform including ServiceNow, Cherwell, BMC Remedy, RemedyForce, Ivanti, HPSM, Zendesk, ManageEngine or from any database source.
In particular, the following are supported when migrating to Jira Service Management:
- Creation and update of issues of type Incident, Problem, Change, and Request
- Creation of Comments, Work Logs, and Sub Tasks for the above
- Attachments migrated from ServiceNow and Cherwell for the above
- Creation of Organizations, Customers, Groups, Users, and their relationships
- Creation and update of knowledge articles (pages) in Confluence with embedded images (from ServiceNow or Cherwell sources only)
- Creation of feedback for the Confluence pages
- Creation of Confluence Spaces
- Creation and update of Asset Object Types and associated Attributes
- Creation and update of Assets
- Creation of JSON format file with issue status and dates for import into Jira
It is recommended that you migrate the incidents, changes, problems, and requests separately within their own mappings as you need to specify the Issue Type within the mappings.
You should use the Filter by Inclusion function with the "From Previous Migration Set" option for the work logs, comments, and/or sub-tasks to ensure only those related to the issues included in the migration execution are included to be migrated.
It is not recommended to utilize more than 3 submit threads when migrating your data to a Jira environment.
