Defining Scheduling Options

The scheduling options tab on the Execution Options is presented like this:

Each of the field options are explained in the table below:

Field/Button	Options	Description
Execution Type	As Soon As Possible; At Specific Time;	If ‘As Soon As Possible’ is specified, executes the migration immediately unless another migration is already executing OR a dependent execution has not yet completed OR another execution is waiting to run with a higher priority. If ‘At Specific Time’ is specified, executes as soon as possible after the specified Earliest Execution Start Date & Time.
Earliest Execution Start Date & Time	Date and Time Value	The Date & Time (using the client machine timezone) when the execution should start (unless dependent on a previous execution that has not yet completed).  If only the time is entered, the scheduled date/time will be calculated as the next occurrence of this time. This may be the following day.  Note for BMC Remedy target servers, the timezone is UTC.
Latest Execution Start Date & Time	Date and Time Value	The latest Date and Time (using the client machine timezone) that the execution is permitted to start.  If only the time is entered, the latest Start date/time will be calculated as the next occurrence of this time. This may be the following day. Note, the Last Execute Time cannot be used with the Hourly Repeat options unless the Latest Execute date is also set. In this case, this acts as a point in time after which no more executions will run.
Priority	Low, Medium, High	If 2 or more executions are dependent on the same previous execution then when the previous execution completes, the dependent execution with the highest priority will start first.  Note that executions cannot be run in parallel.
Depends on Previous Execution Of	Previously Loaded Execution	The name of the loaded execution which must complete before the current execution can start (assuming the time is later than the Earliest Execution Start Date Time and earlier than the Latest Execution Start Date and Time).
Repeat	Never, Monthly, Weekly, Daily, 12 Hourly, 6 Hourly, 4 Hourly, 2 Hourly, Hourly, 30 mins, 15 mins, 10 mins, 5 mins;	The frequency of the execution if repeated runs are required. For all repeats, if the execution overruns the time period, the repeat execution time will 'skip’ to the next time.
Schedule Execution	N/A	Adds the Execution to the list of scheduled executions.  It will be executed according to the schedule.
Load Execution	N/A	Loads the Execution (if required) but leaves it unscheduled. It will not be executed until it is moved to a scheduled state.
Save Settings	N/A	Saves all current execution settings and options across all tabs.
Cancel	N/A	Cancels the current execution settings and closes the window.
