ITSM 7.6.4 -> ITSM 9.1
Companies and Sites
(Release 1). Migrates companies, organizations, sites and regions from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91. This template must be executed before People, Groups & Permissions or the Product Catalog are migrated. Note: this project is used for migrating records where the status is Enabled. If you need to migrate records with different status values then you must change the Source Filtering queries on each mapping.
People, Groups & Permissions
(Release 1). Migrates people, support groups and permissions from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91. The companies, organizations and regions migration should be performed first. You should check that you have sufficient fixed and floating licences on the target server before you start the migration.
Product Catalog
(Release 1). Migrates product catalog from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91. The Companies, Organizations & Regions migration and People, Support Groups & Permissions migrations should be performed first. It should be run AFTER the migration of any dependent foundation data. In particular, it assumes that the Company records have already been migrated.
Foundation Custom Config
(Release 1). Migrate all the custom Foundation data including Operational Categories, Business Time Segments, Charge Backs, Assignment configuration, Costing configuration, Key Performance Indicators, Notification Engine configuration and Social Collaboration settings.
CMDB Access Point Class
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate CMDB Access Point Class CIs (and all sub-classes) from ITSM 764 to ITSM 9.1. It includes options to migrate a specified Dataset and to migrate CIs that have been modified within a specified date range. The template allows you to specify a Dataset (variable) to which all the CIs belong to. If you have created any new Datasets on the source server that you want to migrate data from then you must create the corresponding dataset on the target 9.1 server using BMC Atrium before starting this migration.
CMDB System Class Cis
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate CMDB System Class CIs (and all sub-classes) from ITSM 764 to ITSM 9.1. It includes options to migrate a specified Dataset and to migrate CIs that have been modified within a specified date range. The template allows you to specify a Dataset (variable) to which all the CIs belong to. If you have created any new Datasets on the source server that you want to migrate data from then you must create the corresponding dataset on the target 9.1 server using BMC Atrium before starting this migration.
Incident and Problem Management
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate Incidents, Problems, Known Errors and Solution DB records from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91 applications. The template includes all related forms such as Work logs, Tasks, Relationships, Cost records, Decision Trees and Scripts for each primary record type. You must migrate supporting foundation data (using the templates above), before using this template.
This project includes a 'Modified Since Date' variable which should be populated at the start of execution.
Only those Incidents, Problems and Known Errors that were modified since this date are migrated.
Change Management
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate Change Requests and all related records from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91 applications. The template includes related work-logs, tasks, task groups, approvals, change templates, task templates, relationships, impacted areas, notification logs, effort logs, financials, reminders, saved searches and other configuration data which can be selectively migrated to meet specific requirements. You must migrate supporting foundation data (using the templates above), before using this template. Note that the first 3 mappings are used for reference purposes and should be disabled.
Mappings 51-73 are related to back-end configuration forms for which data is assumed to be static. These can enabled if required.
Knowledge Management
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate Knowledge Articles and all related records from ITSM 764 to ITSM 9.1 applications. The template includes all supporting configuration data including templates, feedback, update requests, relationships, watch-lists, visibility configuration and source management data. You must migrate supporting foundation data (using the templates above) before using this template.
If you have customized any forms or added new ones then you will need to modify/add the corresponding mappings to this project if you want the data in any custom fields to be included in the migration.
Service Level Management
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate Service Level Management application data from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91. We strongly recommend that you check each of the mappings in this template before you use it as the basis for a migration project. This template is configured for SLM 764 and 91 OOB forms. Any customizations or changes that you have made to any of the underlying forms should also be made to the corresponding mappings where necessary. e.g. addition of new custom fields that you want to include in the migration.
Service Request Definitions
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate Service Request Definitions and all related forms including PDTs, AOTs, Questions, Data Mappings, Approvals, Entitlements and templates from ITSM 764 to ITSM 91. Either migrate a specific SRD or a range of SRDs. This template includes 4 variables, Specific SRD, SRD Title, Delete Target Records and Modified Since Date. If you only want to migrate a Specific SRD, set this variable to TRUE during execution, and set the SRD Title. (If Specific SRD is set to FALSE then the SRD Title is ignored).
Service Requests
(Release 1). This template can be used to migrate Service Requests and all related forms including approvals, work orders, process flows, question responses etc from ITSM764 to ITSM91. This template does not migrate any Service Request Definitions. To migrate these use the SRD764-91 template.
ITSM 8.1 -> ITSM 9.1

Similarly, the Solution Modified Date variable controls the record selection for the Solution Database.
