There are two Licence Agreement Types available:
Trial: Valid for 10 days, limited to 50 record migration per table between any licenced connections.
Subscription: Full functionality with unlimited migrations between any licenced connections for the period of subscription.
Within the above agreement types, individual connections are licenced for use. Adding more connections will build a more inclusive licence.
Each connection must be identified as being used for the source or target of a migration. The licencee is also required to identify which servers are production and non-production instances. Typically users will licence one production server (of each type) for the source and target and some non production servers that can be used for development and testing of the migration process.
The CSV adaptor type, if added, allows any csv files to be used as a source for migration.
For Example:
A company holds a licence for the following connections:
Remedy: Production Server ITSM_PROD, port 9001 to be used as a source
Remedy: Non-production Server ITSM_QA, port 9001 to be used as a source
Remedy: Non-production Server ITSM_QA, port 9005 to be used as a source
Service Now Production Instance https://acme-production.service-now.com to be used as a target
Service Now Non-Production Instance https://acme-dev.service-now.com to be used as a target
Service Now Non-Production Instance https://acme-qa.service-now.com to be used as a target
With this licence:
- Migrations can be performed from ANY of the licenced Remedy servers to ANY of the licenced Service Now instances.
- Migrations cannot involve any other connections.
- Migration from a Remedy server to another Remedy server is NOT licenced
- Migration from a Service Now instance to another Service Now instance is NOT licenced
- Migration from a Service Now instance to a Remedy server is NOT licenced
