Precision Bridge uses advanced memory management (AMM) to maximize the performance of all migrations.
Many Precision Bridge functions can be configured to be multithreaded, taking full advantage of the processing bandwidth of the source and target servers and the Network bandwidth of the connections.
The actual performance will depend on a number of factors including the bandwidth between the installed location and the source and target servers, the size of the records being migrated, the number and size of attachments and the complexity of the data mappings.
For best performance, If the source or target server is on-premise, it is usually advisable to install Precision Bridge as physically close as possible to this server as possible with a high bandwidth connection.
