If you have a Precision Bridge licence that explicitly grants the use of an Oracle database connection then you must enter the location of the Oracle JDBC Driver on your local machine before you are able to create or open a project that references an Oracle server.
This must be entered on the Configuration when you select File->Configure->Application from the menu.
If the driver is not present on your local machine, it can be downloaded from the Oracle Website at www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/jdbc/index-091264.html.
On the Configuration Screen, select the 'Support Oracle Data Source' checkbox. Use the Browse button to navigate to the file. It will be named either ojdbc6.jar (for Oracle 11) or ojdbc7.jar (for Oracle 12+). The location is then passed to Precision Bridge on start up.
You must have a network connection from your local machine to the Oracle database that you want to use as a source
