Migrating ServiceNow Attachments to another ServiceNow instance

To migrate all the attachments for a given table, select the Options tab for the corresponding Form Mapping and select the All Attachments option.

When this option is selected, all attachments for records that are themselves migrated are also migrated.

By default all attachments are pulled directly from the source instance record into the target instance record - they are not downloaded/uploaded via the Precision Bridge client.  This usually gives the best performance, but you can override this behaviour in the Execution Options for Attachments.

Note: A scripted web service called u_pb_mig_attach_<version> is created on the target instance to support this functionality.
