Implementing Direct RSA Archer to ServiceNow migrations

This article is on migrating data directly from RSA Archer to ServiceNow without using the Archer Migrator store application.  The benefits of this approach are:

a) no temporary staging tables required;

b) can migrate from ANY RSA Archer table to ANY ServiceNow table including custom applications;

c) Zero-touch implementation - nothing to install on your ServiceNow instance or Archer environment.

In order to implement a Direct RSA Archer->ServiceNow project, simply launch Precision Bridge then select one of the direct Archer migration templates from the list like this:

Then enter your credentials to connect to RSA Archer and ServiceNow (using an Admin account):

Select Create to create a new project then review each of the mappings in the list, add your own custom tables or fields if required, disable any mappings that you don't need then execute your project.

We normally recommend that you migrate your Enterprise and Asset Data first before migrating other records.

Many of the migration templates include the mapping of user-names on transaction records. It is assumed that the user-names on RSA Archer are the same as the user-names on ServiceNow. If this is not the case then these mappings should be updated.
