This release has an initial version number of 7.4.9.
If an existing version of Precision Bridge is installed, this version will be installed alongside it.
Listed below are the enhancements included in this release:
List of Enhancements
1. Ability to run multiple Form Mappings in Parallel
It is now possible to configure Precision Bridge to run the form mappings in a project in parallel with each other, maximizing the use of server resources and enhancing performance. In tests, this has led to at least a 40% reduction in execution time, and for powerful production servers, the improvement can be far more than this.
Precision Bridge is able to detect dependencies and ensure that the execution order is maintained where these exist to avoid dependent mappings executing before those on which they are dependent.
More information can be found here:
Execution Options: Performance Tuning in Precision Bridge
2. Performance Tuning Tab in Execution Options
The Multithreading options available in project execution, together with the number of connections permitted by each server and Parallel Form Mapping configuration (see above) have been moved to the Performance Tuning tab on execution options.
3. Support for Ivanti Archiving/Replication
Support for the migration of Ivanti Attachments into database or a file structure is now supported for projects where Ivanti data is being migrated to a database.
The Archiving Wizard now also supports the generation of tables based on Ivanti table structures and their associated form mappings.
More information on the Archive Table Generation Wizard can be found here:
The Precision Bridge Archiving Wizard
3. Support for Ivanti to Ivanti Attachment Migration
Support for the migration of attachments from one Ivanti Instance to another is now supported.
Full details of Attachment Migration support can be found here:
Attachment Migration Support Matrix
4. Further support for OAUTH2 for Service Now Connections
OAUTH2 support has been extended to allow a scope to be defined and to allow the retrieval of an OAUTH2 access token to be obtained without requiring user credentials (only the client ID and client secret provided) - where this is supported by the OAUTH2 Server.
This enhancement specifically supports the use of Microsoft Identity Platform as an OAUTH2 Authentication server for Service Now connections.
More information on OAUTH2 can be found here:

New or Updated Templates
The following additional templates were added in this release:
| Source->Target Server | Name | Notes |
| Remedy->Service Now | Service Request Definitions | Enhancements made to the questions/variables mapping now recognize when a multi-line text field should be used for a question and also when a field should be mandatory. |
Notice of Support Termination
With the release of Precision Bridge 7.3, Support was withdrawn for Precision Bridge 6.3 and below. Customers still using these versions are advised to upgrade to a later release.
Currently, supported versions of Precision Bridge are: 7.4, 7.3, 7.2, 7.1 and 7.0.
Advice To Users Upgrading from Precision Bridge 7.0 or earlier
The Use Server ID's Key Mapping option was removed from Precision Bridge 7.1. If this Key mapping option has been used in a project built with Precision Bridge 7.0 (or earlier), the Key Mapping option will default to 'No Key Mappings' when opened in Precision Bridge 7.1 or later.
Note that none of the Precision Bridge Templates used this option in earlier or current versions of Precision Bridge. If you have projects that use this option, be sure to select an alternative key mapping option to use (such as by selecting Key Field Mappings) before executing the project with Precision Bridge 7.2. Failure to do this may result in duplicate records being created if the project is run a second time to update existing records.
Other than the above, projects built using Precision Bridge 7.0 and above will still work with Precision Bridge 7.3 with no changes required.
Licences for 7.0+ will still work for 7.4.
