HP Service Manager can only used as a Source Server (subject to Licencing)
To use HPSM as the Source Server, select HP Service Manager from the Source Server Type dropdown.
Pre-requisites:
- Only HPSM tables and fields that are configured for access in HPSM Web Services can be used by Precision Bridge to provide source data. Before opening the project, check that a REST web service is configured for all the tables you want to retrieve from. See related article below for more details.
The connection details will be displayed and must be completed as follows:
Server Root URL: This is the URL of your HPSM web client. Typically it is of the form:
http://myserver.mydomain.com:myport
(REST web service port may be different from the server port. The default port is 13080. You can find
this in sm.ini or sm.cfg file on your HPSM server.)
API Version: 9 ( Only version 9 is currently supported )
User Name: Your HP Service Manager user account (with sysadmin or pbridge role)
Password: Your HPSM user account password

If you want to retain the login details , select the Save Authentication option. After selecting this option, the username and password are stored and do not need to be entered again the next time you open the same project from the same client machine. Otherwise, you will need to re-enter them each time you open the project.
In order to check that the relevant servers can be accessed using the credentials provided, click on the Test button on the right for each connection.
If the selected server is reachable then a confirmation message will be displayed. If the server is not reachable then a failure/timeout message will be displayed. Correct the Instance URL, User Name, and Password and try the test again. If the HPSM server is not reachable, check that you can connect using the same credentials from a browser.
