To use Jira as the Source or Target Server, select Jira from the Server Type dropdown.

The connection details will be displayed and must be completed as follows:
URL: This is the URL of your Jira Cloud or Data Center/Server instance. Typically it is of the form:
https//:yoursitename.atlassian.net>
Data Center/Server: Select when connecting to a Jira Data Center or Server instance, otherwise unselect it for connection to Jira Cloud
User Name: Your Jira account email address (account with Administrator permissions)
Asset Schema: Optionally enter the Key, ID or Name of an existing schema in your Asset module
API Token: API Token can be created as follows: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/api-tokens-938839638.html
If you wish to migrate CMDB data to Object Types and their attributes within the Jira Asset module, then you must enter the Key, ID or Name of your Asset Schema. If you leave this blank then you will not have access to any asset objects.
If you want to retain the login details, select the Save Authentication option. After selecting this option, the username and password are stored and do not need to be entered again the next time you open the same project from the same client machine. Otherwise, you will need to re-enter them each time you open the project.
In order to check that the relevant servers can be accessed using the credentials provided, click on the Test button on the right for each connection.
If the selected server is reachable then a confirmation message will be displayed. If the server is not reachable then a failure/timeout message will be displayed. Correct the Login URL, User Name, and API Token, and try the test again. If the Jira server is unreachable, check that you can connect using the same credentials from a browser.
